The owners of the Merritt Athletic Club wanted to ensure maximum return on their investment. To do so they realized that the profitability of their pool was directly proportional to its level of use. Indoor pools lost users in the summer months. Outdoor pools shut down in the winter.
 
  The solution was to have OpenAire build a glazed retractable roof building that creates an outdoor feel no matter what time of year. This energy efficient, maintenance free, structure maximizes use year round.
