The owner of this luxurious condominium (the top two floors of the six story tower) wanted to create a private oasis in the midst of Toronto, Ontario. The top floor was to be devoted to this project. The problem was how to make a beautiful outdoor effect while providing a protected environment.

OpenAire was able to offer the solution. An extraordinary, complex building with a gable roof and a single slope at one end. To maximize the open effect the roof was made to open 75% of the rafter length on all three slopes. The interior was made more interesting with an open truss joist system that utilized a convex bottom to achieve a unique architectural effect. All this on the sixth floor. Part of the enclosure covers a pool and spa the other a dining area. The result is a beautiful, open effect, spectacular views and a natural enviornment in the middle of the city.
